What God Thinks Of Quitters

One thing I've discovered about God is that, He admires those who do not quit, I mean those who never give up on their faith. God walks with those who never give up on Him, and He deletes the quitters. For example, in 1Kings 19:4, Prophet Elijah chose to quit on God, and God deleted Him, like God chose someone else to continue with the journey of walking with Him.

So, this is for you that want to quit on God. See, even if your faith is as little as a mustard seed, God will make do with it, rather than you quit and throw away the little faith you have. In due course, he would reward your faith. Moreover, the bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God, please, how do you intend pleasing Him if you are a quitter? Abraham never gave up on God, neither did Hannah. Instances to quit would always show forth itself, but it is up to you to hold on to faith, and keep going.

Personally, I've had several situations when I felt like quitting, and everyday, I still see things that make me feel like just giving up. But, grace which has kept you standing has also held me. Sometimes, I think aloud, "Why do we have to even go to school? I should have been born in the days when all I had to do was fall in love, elope with the Mr Unknown, and live happily ever after" lol, but sadly, that's not the case, except in fictions. We all have to be up and doing, going about our businesses, serving God, and so on. Sincerely, it could be frustrating at times.

Well, whenever you feel like quitting again, just remember what happened to those who did, e.g. With all due respect, Prophet Elijah. You don't want God to delete you untimely, do you? Good, so pick up your faith from where you left it, because the real Christians don't quit. Shalom
