4 Must Know When You Ask And Receive Not
Clearly, the Lord says that whatever we ask in His Name, we will receive, but most a times, we fail to receive some of the things that we ask for. As a result, we tend to question the Lord's credibility. Here is a top "must know" before you start to question God who is innocent, just, and righteous.
1. James 4:3 NLT "And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are all wrong - you want only what will give you pleasure". So, have you questioned your motive?
2. Luke 11:9 NLT "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened". How frequently have you been talking to God on that which you are seeking? Hannah met God after several attempts at Shiloh- 1Samuel 1
3.Habakkuk 2:3 NLT "This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed" I think that verse has said it all, right?
4. 2Chronicles 7:14 NLT "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land".
So, beloved, can you see that our God is innocent, just, and righteous. But, if you feel none of those verses properly apply to you, as in, your motive is right, you have asked times without number, you have waited patiently, and you are cool with God, I want to tell you that everything is working together for your good. What if you had that thing you wanted, and you are not able to read this post, I mean, what if you are D-E-A-D, as in 'daed'? Wouldn't that be the end to that thing you've been clamoring? The bible says seek ye first God's Kingdom and its righteousness and every other thing will be added unto you.
Just allow God do His will, OK? May God's will alone be done in our lives in Jesus name. Shalom
