There Is Time For Everything
The book of Ecclesiastes is a book I've come to fall in love with over time, and I call it my "Refuge Book". Actually Ecclesiastes is a book that was written by someone who has wealth, I mean W-E-A-L-T-H. So, for a wealthy man to say "there is time for everything", then indeed, there is time for everything, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
In the real sense of life, there are so many times that we might wonder why we weren't some other persons or why we were born into the family we presently find ourselves. Earlier in my 'teenagehood', I wanted to be so many people all at the same time. I wanted to be a model, an actress, a dancer, a journalist, a newscaster, a TV presenter or to feature in a TV commercial, a lawyer, and an oil and gas exporter, lol. I'm sure it wasn't just me, almost every teenager goes through that phase. Then later, my wish moved on to being President Barrack Obama's daughter, or any other highly respectable dignitary's daughter. Seriously, Lord please forgive every teenager of this selfish and ungrateful wish.
The thing is, sweetheart, there is a time for everything in life. For everyone that you see excelling at this time, it is because it is their time. When your time of excellence comes, nothing would stop you, so stop being sad about who you are right now. For instance, when I was in high school, some of my mates then were already using a blackberry phone, and I was quite sad about my Nokia, but when my time to use a blackberry came by, nothing stopped it from happening (It has come and gone tho, waiting for my time to use an iPhone6, lol).
King Solomon writing Ecclesiastes is just like President Barrack Obama writing a book to tell us there is time for everything. Believe it and just let it be. What will be, always will be, so wait for your time. Wait for your time to become the President of your world. Wait for your time to get married before you start having s*x. Wait for your time to graduate, have kids, have wealth. And most importantly, wait for your time to meet Jesus in Heaven, do not commit suicide.
In other words, do not artificially do things to hasten your time to come, let it come itself. I pray for patience upon every of our lives in Jesus Name.
Shalom.
