7 Private Places You Can Pray

One of the advantages of being a child of God is that you can talk to God just about anywhere and at anytime. Majority of us complain about the lack of privacy we have to pray, hence the reason for this list. Ephesians 6:18.

1. IN THE LOO. For those wondering what loo is, the loo is the toilet where you do that thing, lol. What privacy do u need again when you are alone in there, so whenever you have your stomach dragging you to the loo, remember to spend that 5 to 30mins praying.
NB: For your hygiene, I advice you pray with your mind open, and not your mouth.

2. IN THE CLASSROOM. Although the privacy here is not maximally guaranteed, you can still get some few minutes to talk to God. If you can pray about a few minutes before your exam starts, then you should be able to even when exams are not near. Don't pray in class only when you have your exam question papers staring at you.

3. IN YOUR ROOM. Well, this might not be applicable to everyone, especially for those who share a room with others. However, there is always a way around it. I didn't grow up having a room I could call mine, in fact till now, I still have roommates, but I've learned to create privacy for myself. Those whom you share rooms with aren't around all the time, so you can schedule your prayers to when no one would be in the room except you. Or you could even wake up earlier to pray when everyone is still asleep, quietly though. Really, you need to learn how to create enough privacy for yourself now, you can't be single forever. Marriages do happen, kids come along, grandchildren, you know what I'm saying, right?

4. A CHURCH NEARBY. Start to make a good use of that local church on your street, the next street, or within your neighborhood. Even though you may not attend their Sunday services, you should at least fix a time to go there for your alone moments with God, especially if you live in a house where privacy is next to impossible.

5. IN THE CAR, TAXI, TRAIN, PLANE. When you go on a long journey, instead of sleeping or enjoying the view mother nature has provided, you can talk to God, thanking Him on behalf of all the things He has created, that is, the tree, the road, sky, everything it is you can see. Some people only scream the name of JESUS when there is an error from the driver. Please, do not wait till something happens before you call out His name in panic, Jesus didn't find it pleasant when the disciples woke Him up with a yell (Mark 4:35-41).

6. ON THE QUEUE. We queue at the cashier's, at the motor park, at the eatery, etc. We need to make good use of our long queues by configuring our hearts to God our Father. You can even meditate on the bible verse you had read that morning.

7. WHEN ABOUT EATING. Seriously? Yea, seriously. Some grew up praying before eating, some like me outgrew it, some were never taught. Well, no matter the category you are, it is never too late to make praying before a meal your thing. Not just praying for yourself, but also pray for those who have no idea where their meal is coming from.

And that's it. If you have been praying in all these places, thumbs up to you, and if not, please make an habit of them from today, and stop complaining of no privacy. 1Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing", God bless you. Shalom.
