Nothing Comes As A Shock To God
"History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. Sometimes people say, 'Here is something new!' But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. We don't remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now." Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 NLT.
Many a times, we tend to believe that we alone are in whatever situation we are facing or going through, which is wrong. In fact, there are several others who have gone through the same thing in the past, there are thousands of people who are also currently going through it with you, and there are also so many who would still go through it in the future. So you see, there's really nothing new under the sun. When you are about giving up, tell that problem there is nothing new under the sun; when you all you can do is cry and be sad, tell yourself there is nothing new under the sun, and move on with your life.
Always remember that verse above whenever you are in a tough situation, or even if it's a pleasant situation, because as you can see, nothing can surprise God. For instance, if anyone who is already in Christ decides to go back to the world, God wouldn't be surprised, and as a result He has had a plan B all along. We should then be careful and not abuse His grace, because God already has a plan B from the beginning. Even when the first man sinned in the beginning, God already had a plan B to restore man back to Himself, through Jesus Christ.
In other words, there is nothing you are going through that is new, lest you abuse the grace of God. Elijah, despite being a Prophet of the Most High, was replaced because he was ignorant of the fact that God always had a plan B (1Kings 19). Saul tried to shock God, but he got the shock instead ( 1Samuel 16:1). In conclusion, whatever you are facing is just a phase that would soon pass away. Do not because of it frustrate the grace of God upon your life, hence you get replaced.
