Giving Up All Ungodly Relationships

In this post title I used the phrase "all ungodly reationships", this is because being in Christ requires walking in the steps of Christ. I don't really know how this occurs, but naturally, you realize the people that are bad influences to Christianity and are in your life. The worst part of it is if those people are immediate family or sponsors.
But then, we are faced with the option of choosing them or Christ, hmmm, trust me, it takes only the grace of God to make the right choice. In my case, I started the weeding exercise with the boyfriend I had. At that moment I ended the ungodly relationship, sincerely, I felt a heavy weight lifted off me, it is a feeling one cannot explain.
Although, before His Grace helped me, I was like it would not be possible, because like every other teenager, I was head over heels in love with him. The mere thought of being without him made me nauseous, but you know, he whom Christ sets free is free indeed. And really, His grace is more than sufficient for us, but you know, God doesn't do what we can do for us, there is that place of we making choices. Joshua 24: 19-22. We need to make up our mind on being an ambassador for Christ, choosing whether to follow the world or not. Seriously, the issue of ungodly relationship is like one of the easiest issues in Christiandom if    there any word like that.
So, make up your mind about him or her today, because  this race is a personal race and you cannot afford to be slowed down by a friend who is not even ready move yet. Decide on this now so we can move to the next step in walking in Jesus steps.
Is this where you are right now? Trust God and ask Him to help you out, and I'm sure He will. He chose you even before you chose Him.

Secular Movies? Are you for real?

Somehow, I told a friend about a movie I saw, and at the same time, also recommended the movie to him. Much to my surprise he said, "So Christians are not allowed to listen to secular music, how come no one is talking about the secular movies?" Hello everyone, hope we have been good? Secular Movie 1

Yea, still on the matter, "secular movies". Just so you know, I'm as expectant as you are on this issue, keep calm, and let's learn together. Normally, I feel people (Christians now), just watch movies to relax, have fun, and feel good, without actually giving much thoughts on the secularism of those movies, at least that is what it is for me. However, we should remember the Bible verse that says, "Be careful, be vigilant, your adversary, the devil, goeth about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1Peter 5:8.
