What You Don't Know About Being A Pastor's Wife

This post is dedicated to all single Christian ladies who do not want to be a Pastor's wife, lol. How do I even begin this write up? Ok, well, here's the gist.

After I became genuinely born again, members of my fellowship started to prophecy into my life, saying that I am going to be a Pastor's wife and stuff. Initially, I was like "really? You guys must be joking!". But as time advanced, I just found out that if I am going to keep standing for Christ and get stronger in the Faith, then there is need for me to marry someone who is more Spiritual than I am.

I mean, you are a Christian lady, you cannot afford to spend the rest of your life with someone who wouldn't mind not praying or not reading his Bible for weeks. How do you intend coping with that sweetie? Let me tell you, I grew up having my mum lead prayers in the home whilst my dad enjoyed his sleep, and it wasn't something I was ever happy about (I'll tell you more about it some other time). Not for your sake now, but for the sake of your kids, please get married to someone that you are sure is more Spiritual than you are.

Do not get me wrong please, I'm not saying you must marry a Pastor, of course there are numerous fake Pastors, all I'm saying is that you should open up your heart to God and let him give you that person. Abraham was more spiritual than his wife, and that is more reason why she was able to conceive, she could have died childless (Read Genesis 17 and 18 to confirm).

Dear sister, I know Pastors and Spiritual men most times look unkempt, I know they do not have that biceps, triceps, six packs and stuff, but they have God in their lives. Let God be sufficient for you (Genesis 17:1), because these six packs guys wouldn't remain the same as they grow older, but God would always remain the same. To be honest, I'm also talking to myself here, being a Pastor's wife sulks (pardon me), I'm just trying to be me.

Luke 22:42b "'Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.' Then an angel came from heaven and strengthened him." Let God's will be done and you can be sure of His strength.

Finally, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10 NLT. Shalom
