Who Alone Can Love You Even In Death?

I had quite a huge traffic yesterday on the love post, and I noticed that people are more interested in love matters.

Well, actually we are right to be more interested in love matters, because really that is the essence of our existence anyway. Even God is Love, 1 John 4:8. But, love as is were, goes beyond marriage. Marriage is just one of the institutions where love is practiced, there are several others. Of all the 'loves', the love of God should be the most important in our lives, because that is the only love that continues even after death.

The Bible permits a partner that loses his better half to death to remarry (1 Corinthians 7:39), but in Romans 8:38-39 nothing can separate us from the love of God, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor worries for tomorrow, not even the power of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now you decide for yourself, which love do you think is best for you? Mind you, it is not enough for you to claim you love God, and live in a completely different world from His. "But those who obey God's word truly show how completely they love Him. That is how we know we are living in Him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus lived" 1 John 2:5-6. The kind of life Jesus lived was the life that said "Not my will, but Your will LORD be done" Luke 22:42.

Conclusively, if we must fully partake of God's love for us, we should start to live like Jesus lived. Shalom
