The Night Is Coming
"There's a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?" John 6:9 NLT.
Are you a young man with just very little capital that's not even enough to start up a business that you so much desire? Or are you also an elderly who has what is needed to start up a business, but lack manpower? As a matter of fact, Jesus has solved it already, its just for us to realize this and get started with that plan.
Actually, the matter with most of us is that we have this great idea that is enough to make us wealthy up to our fifth generation, but we are waiting for that moment when we would just wake up and someone would tell us we have become the CEO. Sincerely, it doesn't work that way. I'm still in my late teenage years, but if there's anything I have learned through my personal experiences, it is that those who start small and insignificantly are those who are more likely to excel and SUSTAIN their achievements.
The word 'sustain' is intentionally in capital letters, because, just about anybody can excel, but it takes the diligent and experienced to sustain excellence. So, back to the young lad who had 5 barley loaves and 2 fish that fed over five thousand. I can tell you it wasn't magic that was performed, it was a miracle, and that's why we have not been able to make thousands out of our little. We expect it happen magically, no, I'm sorry it won't.
"Philip replied, 'Even if we worked for months, we wouldn't have enough money to feed them!" John 6:7. Is that what your mindset is like? Do you usually give up even before ever starting?
Jesus is saying to you today, "Tell everyone to sit down" John 6:10. With that little you have, put down your plans. "Then Jesus took the loaves"... -You too can take up that little that's available to you- "gave thanks to God"- you also should give thanks to God- "and distributed them to the people"- and you should commence work on that great idea, yourself.
The bible didn't say, the disciples distributed it, what they gathered were the leftovers, Jesus distributed them to the people by Himself. So start work on it by-your-self! Has Jesus spoken to you today, if yes, take up your pen right now, and start working on it. Don't wait till when you are gonna have it big before you begin, trust me, that time ain't coming.
"The night is coming, and then no one can work." John 9:4B. Shalom.
