Praying Made Easy!!!

Every Christian knows how important it is to pray. We all, at least, are familiar with the Bible verses that urge us to pray always, 1Thessalonians 5:17.

However, a good number of us find it very very difficult to pray consistently. And why is that? Honestly I do not know. At one point, one is actively praying, and at another point, one is just down, and prayer just becomes a struggle. You know, an "on" and "off" kind of thing, you get right?

I am also not an exception here, in fact, if there's anybody who used to go more "off" than "on", it should me. But hey, that's not now anymore, God has helped me. Therefore, what you are about to learn here is my secret to having a stable and life changing prayer life.

As I said earlier, I used to frequently go off in the place of prayer with the excuse of always being busy, as in, school work, fellowship activities, social responsibility etc. Having a cold prayer altar wasn't a thing I was quite happy about, it grieved me instead. You can imagine, someone who leads worship session in fellowship, does this activity or the other, yet suffering when it comes to prayers.

At some point, I met people whom I felt could advice me as to how to make a change, still, nothing really helped. Don't get me wrong, not that I did not want to pray, no, I really did want to pray, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. And when I mean pray, I mean spending at least an hour talking with God, not the five minutes rush-hour thing.

Long story short, sometimes ago, I went to a friend's to drop off something, and I was inclined to see the movie "War Room", a Christian movie centered upon prayers. I saw war room and what I needed to do to help my prayer life clicked in an instant on my mind.

I realized I needed a place to dedicate as my prayer room, like a place where you know God is there waiting for you. So, after I got home that day, I dedicated my bathroom to the LORD, funny isn't it? But that was exactly all I needed all along, a very private place. In my bathroom, now, there are prayer lists, my prayer schedule, Bible verses, lined up on every part of the wall.

Not to brag or something, ever since I created a private room for God, I've never gone a day without praying the way I should have been praying. I just cannot keep God waiting in the bathroom, lol.

And that's my secret weapon I have just shared with you. If your prayer life is at the moment, bad, first of all, try to see the movie, "War Room", then, I'm sure God himself would lead you to your secret weapon. He alone knows the reason why you prayer life is not encouraging, and he would give you his perfect solution for you. And whatever He asks you to do, please do it. My bathroom is the least place I would have picked to pray.

Try creating a special place for God, have a scheduled time with Him, and do not keep Him waiting. And of course, when you play your part, you can be rest assured that He would play His too. James 4:8a "Draw unto me, and I will draw unto you".

1Chronicles 16:11 "Look to the LORD and his strength; seek His face always". Shalom.
