Secular Movie 2
And finally, we're concluding on the secular movie segment. From the comments that were made in the last post, I really did not feel the need to still go on to conclude again. I mean, the comment just sort of warped up everything more that could have been said, the LORD still got a few words on the matter though.
First is, be mindful of who you fed, is it your flesh or your spiritual man? Do not gratify the body at the expense of you spiritual self.
Matthew 26:41 NIV "Watch and pray so you do not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."
Secondly, remember that you become a slave to whatever you let control you. Please, do not become a movie slave (or any other secular thing), he who the Son sets free is free indeed, friend.
2Peter 2:19 NLT "They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you."
And lastly, in everything you do, always obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. He is the only One that has been ascertained by Jesus to guide you into all truths, so please, it isn't enough to just listen to Him, also, obey him promptly.
Galatians 5:17 KJV "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would."
"Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You live this way already, and we encourage you to do so even more." 1Thessalonians 4:1 NIV.
Thank you for your time, may God help us all to be like His Son Jesus. Shalom.
