Midlife Crisis and the Bible

Midlife crisis, "a loss of self-confidence and feeling of anxiety or disappointment that can occur in early middle age." Generally, midlife crisis occurs between ages 45 - 55. But, I would say midlife crisis can occur at any age. Or how do we explain a frustrated Engineering Graduate who works as an unskilled labour due to unemployment? These days, twentysomethings are not far from midlife crisis. What does the Bible say about midlife crisis? How does one go about a dashed dream at twentysomething? Apart from what you know, what else has the story of Ruth thought you? Ruth 1-4 tells us of the story of a young Moabite lady, Ruth, who lost her husband at a very young age. Adulthood; Journeying with Issues of Life

Hi Yeah, Hi..... Long time here! Really really been a while. About two years, maybe? A whole lot has happened in two years. Now, we are all at home, quarantining. Covid-19. Oh well! I'm overwhelmed with things I'd like to write about.  So many things has happened to me since the last time I was here. Thirty minutes ago, Facebook reminded me of one of my posts here. I read it and a couple of others. I had to ask myself, "where is that girl who wrote this?" Honestly, that girl got bottled up with the affairs of life, all these issues of life. I graduated from College. I went through the compulsory one year paramilitary service fresh graduates observe here in Nigeria. Then, I was left with the what next? One thing though, I never lost my relationship with God. Though, it's been rocky, it's been kinda onesided, like I'm just trying to figure out life and who I really am.
